Many different classes and workshops are offered each month at The Place for Reiki and the schedule changes every three months. So please stop by often to see what's new.
The schedule listed here only covers the events that are scheduled three months in advance. I also offer a variety of 2-hour workshops, classes and meditation and healing circles during each month, including a Reiki exchange. However, these offerings are scheduled only about a week in advance. Following the current schedule of events are descriptions of my monthly meditation and healing circles, and a more detailed description of the Reiki Circle for Children with Special Needs that I host monthly. Also, please check out myindividual healing sessions, called Mind, Body and Soul Sessions. They provide a unique opportunity for healing in a one-on-one environment.

Classes and Workshops

Meet Your Reiki Guide

Through this guided meditation you may be able to meet the spiritual being that acts as your guide each time you do a Reiki session. You will also receive an additional attunement at your current level of Reiki, to strengthen your energy and bring you to a higher energetic vibration. Please bring a notebook or journal. Open to all Reiki practitioners.

Healing Attunements

Blockages in your energy system from past trauma, repressed emotions, unmet needs or expectations and a variety of other things may manifest in many ways, including: headaches, back/neck pain, depression, anxiety, low energy, lack of motivation, and poor self-esteem. This powerful healing technique releases such blockages so that you have more energy available to focus on your present needs and move forward. A group healing circle follows to help your body acclimate to the changes as the blocks are released. Please bring a notebook or journal. Class size is limited to 12. Please register early to reserve your space.

Reiki Circles for Children with Special Needs

Does your child have special needs - medical, physical, emotional or mental? If so, perhaps the gentle, loving energy of Reiki can make a difference. Reiki enhances traditional medical and therapeutic treatments and promotes a sense of peace and well -being. Please call to pre-register. We include the entire family in the circle.

Dates: 3rd Saturday of each month (7/17, 8/21, 9/18)

Reiki I Class

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction, relaxation and healing. This class will enable you to do Reiki on yourself, family members and friends. By the end of class you will be certified as a Reiki I Practitioner and receive a certificate suitable for framing. Open to everyone.

Cost: $125 (Registration and $50 non-refundable deposit due by July 9.)

Transformational Reiki Re-attunements

If you are a Level I practitioner in Transformational Reiki and would like to boost your energy, as well as have the opportunity to practice your drumming, this workshop is for you. You and your drum will be re-attuned to the Transformational vibrations to help strengthen your healing abilities and your connection with Native American energies. You will have the opportunity to experience those changes as you practice on one another.

Circle of Acceptance

What do you need to accept in your life so that you can move forward? Come prepared to be open about the things in your life, your relationships, your being, that you have not been able to accept in the past, regardless of how hard you've tried, and would like to finally be able to accept now. Acceptance does not mean that you do not wish these things to change. It simply means that you are able to accept and be honest about where you are with the different areas of your life. If you cannot accept where you are, you cannot change where you are and what you don't like. This is a powerful experience that requires your full participation to reap the greatest benefits. Open to all.

Advanced Reiki Training (ART)

During this class students will learn Psychic Surgery, a powerful technique to release negative energy blocks. You will receive a basic introduction to crystals and learn to use a grid with crystals for continuous distance Reiki healing. This class offers valuable tools for your current healing practice as well as for your own personal healing and growth.

Prerequisite for ART: Reiki II

Transformational Reiki ©

This unique energy technique blends traditional Japanese Reiki with Native American energies to produce a healing vibration especially helpful for individual transformation and growth. TR will also introduce you to the power of drumming and deepen your connection to Mother Earth.

You must be a Reiki II practitioner for at least 6 months to take this class.

Date: August 22 (Sun.)

Cost: $250 (includes a drum) (Registration and $75 deposit due by July 30.)

Reiki II Class

Are you a Reiki I practitioner who is ready for the next step? Reiki II teaches you how to do distance healing, focus the Reiki energy on a particular area of the body, and target mental and emotional issues (including addictive behaviors). At the completion of the class you will be certified as a Level II Reiki Practitioner and will receive a certificate suitable for framing.

Prerequisite: Reiki I

Healing the Shadow Self

This workshop will help you identify and heal the subconscious parts of yourself that make it difficult for you to be the person you would like to be. Using a guided meditation and a group healing session, you will be able to recognize, acknowledge and accept those parts of yourself so they can be healed. Open to everyone.

Reiki III (Master Class)

Learn how to share your gift of Reiki with others in an even greater way! This class teaches you additional symbols and the attunement process so that you can teach others how to do Reiki. You will also learn an additional tool to help remove deep-seated blockages from the energy system.

Prerequisite: Advanced Reiki Training (ART).

Dates: September 11 &12 (Sat. & Sun.)
Time: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM each day
Cost: $650 (Registration and $100 deposit are due by Aug 30.)

Meet Your Guardian Angel(s)

Each of us has a spiritual being or beings that watch over us and assist us in our daily lives. Would you like to have the opportunity to find out more about this special angel that is accompanying you on your journey? Then join us for a guided meditation that may assist you in learning more about your particular guardian so you can develop a more personal and rewarding relationship with him or her. A group healing circle will follow.

Individual one-on-one healing sessions with Bonnie

Bonnie also offers unique one-on-one healing sessions that combine her gifts as a healer, medium, channel and psychic with her expertise as a psychotherapist. Her clients have experienced relief from issues such as chronic depression, anxiety, grief and loss, post-traumatic stress disorder and long held anger. Meditation and Healing Circles

The monthly meditation and healing circles are a great way to participate in your own healing process. You will participate in a guided meditation and then experience the power of a group healing circle to enhance your own spiritual journey and healing process.

The topic for each circle's guided meditation is different. Some of the topics in the past have included: Healing the Wounded Heart, Gratitude, The Gifts, Removing Blocks, Moving Forward and Peace. By actively participating in the meditations, you send a strong message to the Universe that you are actively involved in your own healing and growing process. This then allows the Universe (God) to kick in its support in an even more powerful way.

After the meditation, we take time to journal and process what's come up for participants during the meditation. You may share or not; do what feels most comfortable for you. However, there is often a synergy in the sharing process that enhances what you receive during the meditation.

Once everyone has had the opportunity to share, I do a group healing circle for everyone. Most Reiki practitioners only work one-on-one with clients, however, as my Reiki abilities have evolved, I have been gifted with the ability to do Reiki on a group of people simultaneously.

During the group healing sessions, participants sit in a circle as I stand in the middle of the circle, or walk around the outside of the circle, doing Reiki for everyone in the circle. There may be times, depending on individual needs, that I may work on specific individuals; but that choice is up to God, not me - as I am only the channel.

Once the circle begins, I leave it completely up to my Reiki guides and my spirit guides to determine what occurs in the circle. There have been times when loved ones, angels, and other spiritual beings have joined the circle because they have messages for one or more of the participants. . Sometimes I channel the energies of a number of different Native American spirits and may be guided to use a drum or a rattle; at other times I begin to channel the voices of these spirits, and my clients have recognized such languages as Cherokee, Lakota, and other dialects of the Plains Indians, as well as dialects from some of the South American cultures. Although neither my clients nor myself fully comprehend the meaning of the messages being channeled, everyone agrees that the intensity of the healing experience is increased whenever this occurs.

Each circle is different, and each person will receive what he or she most needs at the time they participate. The circles can be extremely powerful vehicles for personal growth and healing.
