Many different classes and workshops are offered each month
at The Place for Reiki and the schedule changes every three
months. So please stop by often to see what's new.
The schedule listed here only covers the events that are scheduled
three months in advance. I also offer a variety of 2-hour
workshops, classes and meditation and healing circles during
each month, including a Reiki exchange. However, these offerings
are scheduled only about a week in advance. If you would like

Following the current schedule of events are descriptions
of my monthly meditation and healing circles, and a more detailed
description of the Reiki Circle for Children with Special
Needs that I host monthly. Also, please check out myindividual
healing sessions, called Mind, Body and Soul Sessions.
They provide a unique opportunity for healing in a one-on-one
environment.

Classes and Workshops
Healing Attunements
Blockages in your energy system from past trauma,
repressed emotions, unmet needs or expectations and a variety
of other things may manifest in many ways, including: headaches,
back/neck pain, depression, anxiety, and poor self-esteem.
This powerful healing technique releases such blockages so
that you have more energy available to focus on your present
needs and move forward. A group healing circle follows to
help your body acclimate to the changes as the blocks are
released. Class size is limited to 12, so register early to
guarantee your space.

Cost: An Offering from Your Heart
The Power of Forgiveness
Moving forward can be difficult enough, but when we find
ourselves stuck in unforgiveness, it can be almost impossible.
This workshop will give you additional insights into the power
of forgiveness, including research findings that document
the benefits of forgiveness for your overall health and well-being.
It may also help you open the door to forgiveness in your
own life, not only forgiveness of others, but of yourself
also. A group healing circle will follow, to assist you in
moving out of the past, and into the power of forgiveness.

Advanced Reiki Training (ART)
During this class students will learn Psychic Surgery, a
powerful technique to release negative energy blocks. You
will receive a basic introduction to crystals and learn to
use the Reiki grid with crystals for continuous distance Reiki
healing. This class is the prerequisite for the Reiki Master
Class. Prerequisite for ART: Reiki II
Date: Feb. 11 (Sat.)

Karuna Reiki ® Practitioner Level I & II
This form of Reiki takes your Usui/Tibetan Reiki to the next
level. Eight new symbols give you the opportunity to help
others through 'compassionate action.' According to William
Rand, "Karuna Reiki® opens you to work more closely
with all enlightened beings… those who are physically
present as well as in spirit. " You must be an Advanced
Reiki Practitioner for at least 6 months to take this class.
You must attend both days to receive your certificate.
Dates: Feb. 18 & March 17 (Sat.)
Time: 9-6 each day
Cost: $400 (Registration and $75 deposit due by Feb. 3.)
Asking the Pendulum
Learn how the ancients used a pendulum to find answers to
all the important questions, and learn how you can do the
same! This fun and interactive two-part workshop will give
you the opportunity to learn the basics, practice and come
back for additional help and feedback. Please bring a notebook
or journal. You may bring your own pendulum, or purchase one
the first night of class.

Reiki II
Class Are you a Reiki I practitioner who is ready for the
next step? Reiki II teaches you how to do distance healing,
focus the Reiki energy on a particular area of the body, and
target mental and emotional issues. You will also learn how
to send Reiki into the past to heal old hurts and into the
future to assure more positive outcomes. At the completion
of the class you will be certified as a Level II Reiki Practitioner
and will receive a certificate suitable for framing. Prerequisite:
Reiki I

Reiki I Class
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction, relaxation
and healing. This class will enable you to do Reiki on yourself,
family members and friends. By the end of class you will be
certified as a Reiki I Practitioner and receive a certificate
suitable for framing. Open to everyone.
Date: March 3 (Sat.)
Time: 9AM - 6:30 PM
Cost: $125 (Registration and $50 non-refundable deposit due
by Feb. 20.)
From Survival to Selfish to Self-loving
Why do we find it so difficult to take care of ourselves
first, even though we know that when we are doing well, we
are better able to help those around us? This workshop may
provide you with a better understanding of why you are always
on the bottom of your own priority list, and will hopefully
assist you in changing that pattern, so you can be better
for yourself and for those around you! Open to everyone. Please
bring a notebook or journal.

30 Day Spiritual Challenge
Many of us claim to want a stronger connection to God, Source,
Universal Energy, etc., but how many of us are willing to
make the effort to make that happen? This
unique interactive group experience gives you the opportunity
to do just that, supported by a group of like-minded others
who will walk the path with you, sharing
their stories as you share yours, while using the power of
group healing circles to assist you in your efforts. Using
blogging, journaling and distance healing, we'll spend 30
days getting in touch with that Divine Source in a consistent
way to see just what can happen when we open that doorway
and allow ourselves to walk through! Who will you be when
you come out the other side? Open to everyone. (Cost includes
all necessary materials.)

Transformational Reiki ©
This unique energy technique blends traditional Japanese
Reiki with Native American energies to produce a healing vibration
especially helpful for individual transformation and growth.
TR will also introduce you to the power of drumming and deepen
your connection to Mother Earth. You must be a Reiki II practitioner
for at least 6 months to take this class.
Date: March 31 (Sat.)
Time: 9 AM - 6 PM
Cost: $250 (includes a drum)

Mind, Body and Soul Sessions:
Individual one-on-one healing sessions with Bonnie
Bonnie also offers unique one-on-one healing sessions that
combine her gifts as a healer, medium, channel and psychic
with her expertise as a psychotherapist. Her clients have
experienced relief from issues such as chronic depression,
anxiety, grief and loss, post-traumatic stress disorder and
long held anger. Physical concerns such as migraines, chronic
neck and back pain, carpal tunnel, and arthritis have also

Meditation and Healing Circles
 The
monthly meditation and healing circles are a great way to
participate in your own healing process. You will participate
in a guided meditation and then experience the power of a
group healing circle to enhance your own spiritual journey
and healing process.
The topic for each circle's guided meditation is different.
Some of the topics in the past have included: Healing the
Wounded Heart, Gratitude, The Gifts, Removing Blocks, Moving
Forward and Peace. By actively participating in the meditations,
you send a strong message to the Universe that you are actively
involved in your own healing and growing process. This then
allows the Universe (God) to kick in its support in an even
more powerful way.
After the meditation, we take time to journal and process
what's come up for participants during the meditation. You
may share or not; do what feels most comfortable for you.
However, there is often a synergy in the sharing process that
enhances what you receive during the meditation.
Once everyone has had the opportunity to share, I do a group
healing circle for everyone. Most Reiki practitioners only
work one-on-one with clients, however, as my Reiki abilities
have evolved, I have been gifted with the ability to do Reiki
on a group of people simultaneously.
During the group healing sessions, participants sit in a
circle as I stand in the middle of the circle, or walk around
the outside of the circle, doing Reiki for everyone in the
circle. There may be times, depending on individual needs,
that I may work on specific individuals; but that choice is
up to God, not me - as I am only the channel.
Once the circle begins, I leave it completely up to my Reiki
guides and my spirit guides to determine what occurs in the
circle. There have been times when loved ones, angels, and
other spiritual beings have joined the circle because they
have messages for one or more of the participants. . Sometimes
I channel the energies of a number of different Native American
spirits and may be guided to use a drum or a rattle; at other
times I begin to channel the voices of these spirits, and
my clients have recognized such languages as Cherokee, Lakota,
and other dialects of the Plains Indians, as well as dialects
from some of the South American cultures. Although neither
my clients nor myself fully comprehend the meaning of the
messages being channeled, everyone agrees that the intensity
of the healing experience is increased whenever this occurs.
Each circle is different, and each person will receive what
he or she most needs at the time they participate. The circles
can be extremely powerful vehicles for personal growth and
healing.
